Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect on my first visit?
When you visit us, you can expect to be welcomed by friendly members of our church. During our main service, we honor Christ through music, scripture readings, and a Bible message from our lead pastor, Kenton Martin. If you have children and would like an age-appropriate lesson for them, Mountainside Bible Church does have a children's ministry during the worship time.
What is the church parking situation?
Mountainside Bible Church has a parking lot available for those who are attending services and events.
Is the church handicap accessible?
There are six steps inside the church at the entrance. There are hand rails available, as well as greeters who will be able to assist you.
Our bathrooms are on the same level as the main sanctuary.
The parking lot also goes all the way around the church so that all entrances are accessible if you or a member of your carpool would prefer a shorter walk. There is also a handicapped ramp located along the side of the church building.
Are my children welcome in the worship service?
We love having children visit us at Mountainside Bible Church! During the main worship service, children are welcome to attend our children's ministry where they will learn God's word through various different activities. This program is for children in kindergarten to 8th grade.
However, we know that some parents and families may be more comfortable keeping their children with them during the worship service. We want you to feel comfortable with your child's church experience and welcome children of all ages in our main worship service.
Are there options for teens at Mountainside Bible?
Mountainside Bible Church encourages teens to experience our main worship service with their families. Outside of the worship service, we do host events for teens. Keep an eye on our events calendar for more information.
What should I wear to church?
There is no dress code at Mountainside Bible Church. We welcome you to come as you are! Some of our regular attendees wear dress shirts and ties or dresses, while others prefer more casual attire with jeans and a t-shirt. We want you to be comfortable.
Am I expected to give during the offerings?
No, you are not obligated to give a gift during our offerings. We want our service to be a gift to you and to encourage you in the Word of Christ.
